Sept. 19: I spent the weekend in New York City with my brother Justin. I left Friday afternoon at 2:30pm and rode the train to NYC. From Grand Central Station I took the subway to to Justin's hotel/dorm. He attends the school of Visual Arts in Manhattan and the school purchased the George Washington Hotel for housing of resident students. I arrived around 5pm and we proceeded to the World Trade Center to the Law School Forum, which was the purpose of my visit. I picked up info from a few schools I was interested in, but decided not to stay long and I could continue looking tomorrow. So we went back to Justin's place and asked if anyone wanted to join us for dinner. Justin's friend Jose came with us to Frank's pizzaria. One of the finest pizza places around. The pizza was great. After that we made plans to go hang out with some friends and that is what we did. Saturday we slept late, but went back to the World Trade Center to get more info on law schools. I now have a library of info on a variety of schools. I also attended a 18 minute film on the application process, mostly self explanatory. We left about 2:30 and spent the remainder of the day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art where Justin did some of his work for class. We left around 5 and went home. We got back and I looked through my law school materials and Justin did some homework. We ate dinner at a mexican restaurant and then went out with Jenn, Erica, and Saundra to pick out a movie at Blockbuster. What an ordeal (Long story). So we decided on Exorcist and watched it in Jenn's room and at 2am called it a night. I left NYC this morning at 11 and arrive at 12:30 to find out the person who was supposed to pick me up went to a Yankee game and didn't tell me, so I was stuck at the trainstation for an hour until someone else could get me. All in all it was a great weekend and I had fun.
