It's Been A Long Time

08/04/2001: I don't even know where to begin. On September 18, 2000 I started working for The Hartford Life Insurance Company. I am still there and I have been working in the Teleservices department which is just a fancy word for Customer Service. Basically, if I didn't mention it in my last entry Stock brokers as well as the owners of Individual Annuities call up and they ask us to make changes to their contracts like moving money from one fund to another, or they ask us to send out forms to make any necessary changes. Some examples are changes to the beneficiaries, enrolling in an annuity program of some sort, etc. It will be a year this coming September. I love the company they treat their employees so well. Our company won a very prestigious award in January and for all the emploees efforts we got gift certificates to Blockbuster, catered lunches, bonuses, etc. In January 2001 I started taking classes for my Masters of Management degree, but my focus is Information Technology which is computer based, similar to Lora's degree. I have decided that I no longer have an interest in Law. Computers have become my passion. I am no longer live at Avalon apartments with Jeff and Ben. Jeff has moved to Hawaii, and Ben moved to Rockville. I went to visit Jeff in Honalulu in March. He is doing great. He lives there with our friend Kevin. They are both pharmacists. Jeff has joined a band out there called WAKE and they are awesome. Jeff says he will be coming home soon or maybe just moving to California. Kevin will be moving home to be closer to his girlfriend Julie (No not that Julie). I am living with Jeff's ex-girlfriend Jenn. We live at Clocktower Mill Apartments in Manchester. We love it here, in fact we just signed another year lease till September 2002. Jen and I get along so well, she is one of the greatest people I could ever know. I love her like a sister. She just passed all her pharmacy board exams and is now a licenced pharmacist. She will be making the big bucks now. Jen and I adopted our first pet. His name is Maximus (Max for short) he is a Black and White kitten. When we got him in May he was only 12 or 13 weeks old. He is so adorable and cute, but he can be a real pain some times. Lora and I have started dating again back in April. She and I are doing great and are very happy together. She has been working for CSC which is a computer company subsidiary for Pratt & Whitney. She has been thinking about pursuing other interests, CSC is just not her cup of tea. She may be pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. She is there today which is why I have so much free time to be updating my webpage. Normally we would be together out doing stuff as weekends are the only time we really get to see each other due to hectic schedules during the week. Justin is living in Brooklyn, NY. He had finally had enough of CT and I think it was for the best. All his friends are out there and he is a lot happier. He is living with his friend Steve who he went to school with here in CT. My parents have moved to West Hartford. Now that we kids are out of the house they needed a change. The house is very nice. It has a nice pond in the back where ducks will sometimes come to cool off, and nice hard wood floors and it is just the right size for the both of them. Well, that is about it for now. I have intentions of adding photos of Hawaii and of Max as soon as I have some time, and as soon as I figure out what plug I disconnected which is keeping my scanner from working.
