DEEP THOUGHT- I stumbled onto this band's website by accident not too long ago. They are a group from Switzerland, that plays a very unique style of music. While they show elements of progressive bands like Dream Theater, they also have their own sound. Their first demo tape, appropriately titled "Take One", has eight tracks for a total of about 35 minutes of awesome music. According to Dominik Pfleghaar, the band's keyboardist, 7 of the 8 tracks on Take One have a complete set of lyrics, although there are no vocals on the demo.
Unfortunately after making Take One, two of the members of Deep Thought (the drummer and bassist) left the band. However, the two remaining members quickly found a bassist that fit right in. So, now the band is looking for a drummer and a vocalist.
Even though the band is going through some changes, I would still highly recommend this band to anyone looking for a fresh progressive experience.
