Legislative Relations: Operating in the fringes of the law, a small elite task force performs arduous research to present their opinions to the power players in the state capitol. Prevented from actually "lobbying," L.R. provides "information" to legislators, but they are proud to state the group "is responsible for the passing [sic] of the Collegiate Licence Plate Bill during the 71st Ledislature [sic]" as well as other political efforts. As an SGA committee, their budget comes from your student fees. The courts have ruled that you cannot be forced to support a cause you don't agree with.
