ADELINE MARTIN WRIGHT |
| I call great-great grandma "The Elusive Adeline". In the 1910 census she is listed as having been married four times, had 14 children of which 12 were still living. Of course that means married names I don't know anything about and a whole lot more relatives. Family members I've talked to can only remember her having one child and that was great-grandma Sillar. I have even gone so far as to write down all the Adeline's and Sillar's (and all variations of spelling around a certain age range) for the 1870 Wilcox County census. I'm putting the information I found for a possibility in the 1870 census. I have discovered more information on her in the censuses and one the web during 2003/2004. Just needed to do a little more digging. |

I have found information in Marengo County for a Kimbrough slaveowner and there's a possibility out of the two or three women in the 18-24 age range and children under age 4 that they could be Adeline and her daughter, Sillar. |
