About oTerm | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
oTerm.zip | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
oTerm is a free, simple and usable Terminal emulator written in OPL on a PSION REVO plus, I use it to connect to Cisco routers, and exchange files with any machine that has xModem capability. The size of it? only 2613 bytes. I got a Mako(Revo Plus) recently, and fell in love with it. I have loaded several free software on it to make it more useful. Because I can't find a free terminal emulator for it, I decided to write one in OPL. oTerm is simply a dumb terminal emulator with no translation for any character. In addition I gave it basic capability of xModem transfer. It's not 100% xModem complianc, like it dosen't have CRC capability, the reciever will send only one NAK and wait for data packets. But it's still usable, I have been use it to transfer file from various PCs with HyperTerminal. xModem limitations are: 1. if HyperTerminal is sender, it must be started after receiver started at Revo 2. if HyperTerminal is receiver, it will wait for 30 seconds to change from CRC to checksum mode. Please download the oTerm.zip for translated oTerm.opo file and source code oTerm.opl.txt. Both files are available under GPL. Just copy oTerm.opo to any directory and double tap to run it. |
