HISTORY

As I said earlier, I.M.L. was created by my friend Levi and myself.  We were at my house listening to music and looking at a cd cover by Above The Law.  Light  bulbs turned on and out came I.M.L. I put the letters on a banner I used when I ran for Senior Class president.  People asked what it meant and I told them it meant Intelligence, Maturity, and Leadership, seeing how it pertained to my campaign.  I.M.L. was kept mainly between Levi, myself and a few others who knew.  We kept it until after our graduation from high school, where it eventually faded to the background but was never lost.  Then, during the summer of 1997, I decided to join AOL, however I was at a loss of ideas for a screen name, until it dawned on me to incorporate I.M.L. into my screen name.  So my first screen name was IML187.  That didn't last long because 187 was Levi's code and I didn't like the "gangster" theme it seemed to have. So I changed it to IML726, which is still my current screen name.  726 is my pager code.  At the end of summer, my brother decided to join AOL and he needed a screen name.  He wanted something to do with his Impala SS, but he couldn't think of anything he liked, so I told him to use IML007 and that his screen name.  After that it  snowballed and now many members of my family who have joined AOL or some other Internet Service Provider have incorporated I.M.L. into their screen names.
