1997 ACURA INTEGRA GSR

This was my car.  I had for about 3 years.  Somehow the cars I own are really nice before I get them and then it all does downhill after that.  The front end was customized, but I never took any pictures of it.  So you'll just have to take my word for it and anyone else who saw it. 

The car was dark green.  A Show-off front bumper was put on.  1997 Accord Type-R projectors were put in place of the stock headlights.  The rear emblems were shaved to give it a clean look.  All the body work was done at Excellence Body and Paint.

The car was lowered using Suspension Technique springs.  It's sitting on 17" ATS wheels in some pictures, but it was usually riding on stocks.  MOMO Combat shift knob and MOMO Corse pedal kit dressed the interior.  Engine modifications included a Weapon R intake and Thermal R&D cat-back exhaust.  Most parts were purchased from Twin Motor Sports in Clovis, CA.

In October 2001, the car caught on fire while I was driving home from Fresno.  The insurance company said it started behind the manifold.  I have no idea what caused it.   I took pictures and included them here.  Nothing worse than seeing the front bumper melt, hearing the headlights explode, and watching fire fighters hack away at the body just to get to the fire.
