Objective To design & implement a browser based survey tool that facilitates online applications such as a performance appraisal system. The goal was to create a system that put HR in the driver's seat by empowering them to create & maintain their own survey forms & associate them with various job titles in the organization. Upon review time an employee and his/her supervisor is sent a Performance Appraisal (survey form) to fill out. Once they are both completed a new document showing bar graph comparrisons can be viewed. After this is completed the supervisor may fill out another form (survey form) called a Performance Goal document which HR also creates & maintains.

Collaborative Online Personnel Management System
Objective To design, implement and maintain a browser based collaborative tool for managing personnel headcount. Forms are available for hiring, terminating, making rate changes, recording leave of absenses and making personal data changes (i.e. address, phone etc.). When approval(s) is/are required the system determines the appropriate approval path and collects approval(s)/decline(s) via an email driven system. The system takes advantage of iframes which prevent the approver from having to open an email then open a page in a browser before taking action (fewer clicks). As long as the approver archives his/her email he/she forms an email archive which functions as an audit trail.

1
