All
you ever wanted to know about me
and then some
I was born October 30th 1973, (that's right the
day before Halloween) in North Dakota and from there moved to Germany
while I was there I saw just about all that Europe has to offer I highly
recommend a trip to Europe. From Germany we moved back to North Dakota
and from there we moved to toasty warm Oklahoma(for about 11 months).
From there we moved to legendary Iceland where I lived for almost 5 years!!
From Iceland we moved to steamy Georgia (no happy medium with the Air
Force).
From Georgia we moved to exotic Japan where I graduated
from high school. A High School diploma is very impressive to anyone that
doesn't know that I got it at an American school in Japan....Let them
think I'm smart it don't bother me at all!! I met my very best friend
and hermana in Japan and we graduated together ( I graduated about one
minute before she did so I say I graduated before her in my class) I still
keep in touch with her and she honored me by asking me to be her maid
of honor this past summer it was just about the proudest day of my life
to stand next to her while she pledged to spend forever with the man she
loved. Anyway it was a beautiful wedding and we danced all night.
I also learned to drive in Japan pretty interesting
because you see they drive on the left side of the road there. My friend
Randy taught me how to drive and boy did he have allot of patients!!!
Randy was in the Marine Corps in Japan but now he is no longer in the
service and lives in Alabama and is studying to be a CPA. (Hey I'll never
have to do my own taxes again)
Anyways.....I definitely recommend a trip to Japan
the people are very friendly and every meal is an adventure!!! From there
I moved to Florida where I began my college education and prepared to
once again move. This would be my final move courtesey the Air Force to
Minnesota where I finished my education.
Most people want to know what my life was like
as a military brat. I usualy say it sucked but you know I really don't
mean that. I mean some things about being a Military Brat I could have
very well done without such as moving every two years and having to leave
all my friends behind. Though without my past as a brat I wouldn't be
the person I am today. I am now a well rounded adult who has had the great
privilage of seeing many different cultures. I have learned to be much
more tollerant of others and the way they live.
Many of my friends have never been out of Minnasota,
I think that is sad we should all be adventurous and do our best to see
the world around us their is much more to this world than what is in our
own backyard.
I belive that your life is what you make it and
if you want to be unhappy you will be. But if you look at your situation
as an opertunity to grow and learn you will be a much happier person.
My Most Embarrassing
Moment!!!
When I was in high school I had to walk
everywhere I went because I had no car. One day I was walking to the Post
Office by myself and was walking through the parking lot of one of the
military dorms. I stepped on an icy spot and down I fell flat on my back
(boy did it hurt!!). Well, falling was bad enough but when I fell there
was this Marine guy walking back from his car and he saw me fall. So being
the kindly man that he was he walked over to me (still lying on the ground)
and bent over asking me if I was OK. Well I said I'm fine but I think
I dropped my dignity somewhere. This man was drop dead gorgeous and I
just fell on the ice and looked like a total dork. Well he helped me up
and introduced himself ( I don't remember his name) but I was way too
embarrassed to tell him my name and I thanked him and walked on to the
post office walking very carefully!!! Well as embarrassing moments go
it wasn't too bad but it was bad enough. (what did you think I was going
to say something like I went to prom with my dress tucked into my panty
hose or something yea like i would actualy tell you something like that,
I don't even know you!!)
