SERVICE PROJECTS
Through the years our chapter has participated in several service projects. The following sections will be devoted to the service projects we have been involved in.
In the Fall of '98, SFA was blessed with a brand new music building, and with that came more practice rooms to suit the needs of the music students. One very important service project that Mu Phi Epsilon sponsored was a fundraiser to buy mirrors for the new practice rooms.
Another service project that Mu Phi Epsilon annually participates in is the Women's Club Fashion Show. This is held every fall at SFA, and Mu Phi helps out by taking tickets and being dressers for the models. Here are some pics from past fashion shows.
This Fall, Mu Phi is sponsoring a major fundraiser to purchase new pianos for the practice rooms. These pianos are needed very much, and unfortunately there are about 15 practice rooms without pianos. Mu Phi Epsilon is going to help by taking donations to go into a fund for new pianos. After the money is raised, Mu Phi will purchase the new pianos and present them to SFA. If you are interested in donating, contact President, Jocelyn Keller at:
