Vieau's Reviews was created on October 9th, 2001, by founder Andrew Vieau, in an effort to raise money to feed homeless children in Boise, Idaho. The site was originally entitled "Feed Homeless Children in Boise, Idaho," and consisted of:

  • animated .gifs
  • pop-up windows

When numerous/all investors cancelled their contracts, Andrew Vieau was forced to come up a new title and new content to keep the site in business. Thus, Vieau's Reviews was born.
