Recent news here at A&C Software:

9th August: Note: At 1:57am this morning, the hit counter on our downloads page reached 2000 hits! We'd like to thank everyone for visiting the site and checking out our code, and we hope the hit counter will keep rising! We'll probably celebrate officially by re-designing the web site (again), or releasing a new app, or releasing some source code - we haven't decided yet! We'll keep you all posted, and thanks again for the hits!

31 July: Update: MailChecker v0.1a released! This small program will happily check your POP3 e-mail, and retrieve or delete messages from the server. More details on our Products page. Download here .

16 July: Update: Just thought we should keep you all informed on our progress so that you don't all think we're slacking! The core components of MailSerf are coming together, although it's a mammoth job. Andrew's written a Database Engine *from scratch*, and that's working fine - meanwhile, I'm getting some Winsock API Code written to interpret the database and send the e-mails. It's tough work, but we're getting there.. *grins*

11 July: A&C Software has just released Message Wizard, see our downloads and products pages for details.

17 June: Join us! A&C Software is currently looking for a Visual Basic Programmer in their late teens to join our team. Someone with a vaguely artistic background would be preferred - email us at acsoftware@flashmail.com if you're interested in the position, and please enclose as much information about yourself as you can, as well as a sample of your work in VB. We look forward to hearing from you!

17 June: Okay, we're not sure how this will go down amongst you all, but we're releasing an A&C Software CD-ROM. It will be priced at £10, $10, or whatever the equivalent currency is where you are, and will contain the fully-featured versions of all of our applications, all of the most recent beta versions of new and existing applications, and also all of the Visual Basic source code for the files present on the CD. We think this is a fair deal, and hope you all do too! :)
