The Amplified Bible - Psalm
[ Amplified | Psalm 133 | Psalm 134 | Psalm 135 ]

PSALM 133

A Song of Ascent See Psalm 120 title footnote. Of David.

Benefit of the communion of saints Psalm 133.1-3

133
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2It is like the precious ointment poured on the head, that ran down on the beard, even the beard of Aaron [the first high priest], that came down upon the collar and skirts of his garments [consecrating the whole body]. [Exod 30.25,30]

3It is like the dew of [lofty] Mount Hermon and the dew that comes on the hills of Zion; for there Yhwh has commanded the blessing, even life forevermore [upon the high and the lowly].

PSALM 134

A Song of Ascent See Psalm 120 title footnote.

An exhortation to bless God Psalm 134.1-3

134
Behold, blessed (affectionately and gratefully praise) Yhwh, all you servants of Yhwh, [singers] who by night stand in the house of Yhwh. [1Chron 9.33]

2Lift up your hands in holiness and to the sanctuary and bless Yhwh [affectionately and gratefully praise Him]!

3Yhwh bless you out of Zion, even He Who made heaven and earth.

PSALM 135

[ Psalm 130,131,132 | Psalm 136,137,138 ]
