Here are some things that I
wrote.
Ok, While I am not an English major, I do like to write things and I love to read. I have written a lot of poetry and stuff, and I think that some of it is decent enough. Anyway, I am going to put it up despite your complaints because it is my site and I can do whatever i want to it!
My absolute favorite thing to
read is Science Fiction. I took a class last quarter called Psycology and
Science Fiction. It was a great class. I wrote several essays on science
fiction, and here they are:
Psychology of Gender About gender roles in Sci Fi.
Isn't This Reality? About the Phildickian style of Sci Fi.
How we Imagine Aliens About the portrayal of aliens in Sci Fi.
Visions of the Future My extensive paper on the pessimistic view of the future that many Sci Fi authors, incuding Phil Dick and Kurt Vonnegut, have.
I enjoy writing poetry. Most of my poems
are spontaneous, and express my feelings at that given moment. However,
some of it is planned out and does not represent anything that is going
on inside me at all. These ones are almost indistinguishable from the other
type of poetry. So see if you can find out which are which!

If you like Science Fiction, please read anything by Philip K.
Dick. You know him, he is the man who wrote Do Androids Dream of Electric
Sheep?, the book that Blade Runner was based on. He also wrote the
book that Total Recall was based on. Dick is the greatest writer of all
time. You should get as much Dick as possible. I'm telling you that you
can't ever get enough Dick. You can get Dick any time, just go to the store
and ask for some Dick. I'm sure the sales person will happilly give you
some. So please go out and get some Dick as soon as you can!
