Sylvia Lee
This is Sylvia! Well not really... she doesn't dress so badly. Haha...well, I have known Sylvia for close to 7 years now and it has been a really great friendship. She has the most chor-lor Hokkien I know and that never fails to make me laugh... sometimes to the point I "heen". The reason for her page being such an obscene purple is cos that's her favourite colour... and she really goes all the way. From purple pager to purple pens to purple beddings... and even a purple car in the future! (YUCK!!!) I am surprised that her handphone ain't purple and she's no fan of Barney the PURPLE dinosaur... oh yah... he has green spots too. (Watch out for him in next month's Toad Of The Month ! I met Sylvia at our old church which is Grace Assembly Of God and later on we both moved to Barker Road Methodist Church. Coincidentally, Sylvia was also my classmate and also in the ACJC Choir so for a very long period of time, I was seeing her 7 times a week including church on Sundays. She never fails to humour me with her profound Singlish and her high estrogen level, oogling at every good-looking guy on the street (or in the cafe, or in church, or in class, or in Zouk, or in Finland... actually anywhere). Sylvia is one person I miss very much cos she's hardly around... coming home only for short windows of vacation. She is currently studying in Sydney and is in her 2nd year doing Economics which ironically was her most hated subject (besides Maths) cos we had a lecturer that talked like a crow and her 'economic' examples did not make much sense... To increase the demand of chicken rice she adds sugar to her chicken! Hahaha... Sylvia is one of my oldest friendships I have, a very much treasured one.
This picture of us was taken at her house when I went to visit her in Sydney after my BMT (that's why so black).
That's another picture of us in Sydney Darling Habour. It was a beautiful afternoon and we just came from "Yam Cha"
That's us again that evening just after watching Miss Saigon at the Capitol with Min.
