Alpha Epsilon Chapter of
Phi Sigma Kappa

Phi Sigma Kappa Crest

The Alpha Epsilon chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa holds a
very rich prize amongst all of Phi Sigma Kappa
chapters by being a founding chapter. However, we
weren't the founding chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa, but
of Phi Sigma Epsilon, which was founded on February
20, 1910 in Emporia, KS at Emporia State University
(then called the Kansas State Normal School). Phi
Sigma Epsilon and Phi Sigma Kappa merged in 1985 to
form a new, enlarged brotherhood dedicated to the
cardinal principles of promoting brotherhood,
stimulating scholarship, and developing character.
Before and after the merger, the Alpha Epsilon Chapter
continues to be a part of Emporia's campus and
community. By suppling our members with leadership
opportunities, paths to personal growth, and above all
a fun and exciting college experience, Phi Sigs
continue to grow stonger locally, nationally, and
internationally.
