Five years ago on September 3, 1994 a wonderful event transpired.  When I think back and explore deeper than that, I encounter April 25, 1992.  On that day my life would change forever, alhough I would not see it until years later.
The next monumental event was a party held by a woman named Zippy.  A group of five arrived to being told that the children go upstairs while everyone else can stay downstairs.  The two adults in the group did not like this.  The five people left and went to a beach nearby.  The air was cool and crisp.  The ocean was swaying and swishing as though it was saying "Hello!" to the group of people.  It was a wonderful night.
Starting high school was not easy.  The campus looked like it would go on forever.  Fortunately for me two people would be there to help me.
It was unusual to me that anyone would help me find my classes and my locker.  I went to the Student Store to obtain my locker combination with the help of the two people.  Eager to see where my locker was, I went up to the A building of the campus.  I tried my locker many times.  One of the two people, a gentleman, tried the locker also.  It would not open!  Lo and behold, when we returned to the Student Store, the school staff said, "Sorry, we haven't changed the combinations to match your locker yet."  Later on the school would give me a different locker.  At least lunch was not too bad.
Trudging along in a Ford, the two people and three others (including myself) would end up at a Mexican fast food place.  The orders were placed, but the restaurant employees had forgotten our napkins and sauce.  I do not remember if the people went back to get the things, but at least the ordeal was fun.
A while later, the gentlewoman of the two people invited the gentleman over.  We had chicken for dinner and it was very good.  The three others were not on their best sides, however.  They were acting whacky and they were out of control.  The three finally grew (mostly) out of that stage of weirdness.
Thanksgiving 1992 was coming up fast.  I had P.E. in the morning and it was cold, others said.  I was not cold; I was overwhelmed.  I was so hyped up that day that I felt warm.  I was excited.  When the weekend came, I would be eating dinner at the gentleman's apartment (it was then I was told he was a fabulous cook).  The Thanksgiving dinner went on, but complications caused a delay in the turkey making (it did not defrost in time).  The gentleman, gentlewoman, and myself had to go to the store to get a fresh turkey.  The evening ended early, but I had a blast.  Ever since that day I have not eaten a better turkey.
The worst year I ever had was in 1993.  I got royally sunburned and the gentlewoman was not well.  Other factors played into this bad year, but I rather remember the good things.
By the end of 1993, the gentlewoman and the three others had moved into their Grandmother's house to take care of their Grandmother.  She had broken her hip the same year and was not in the best condition.  The gentlewoman and the three others stayed until there until September 1994.  Then, WHOOSH!!
I ask you to remember the first sentence of this web site which reads, "Five years ago on September 3, 1994, a wonderful event transpired."  What was this event?  Sure, it was Labor Day Weekend, but every year we have that and an extra 3 days off from school or work.  Was it the date of name changes?  Yes.  The gentleman and gentlewoman had decided to make that day their wedding day.  A few days after the newlyweds and the three others would move in together into a house in Reseda.
I have highlighted the nonwedded years of the couple.  The list of what happened the following five years after September 1994 will just be a touch of life in the house in Reseda.
Move-in Day: The five had a lot of help, especially by two men: Thomas and Leon.  They were quite the bunch.  That was the first day the five and the two men had Del Taco from down the street.  As the years proceeded, the five would eat there a lot.
December 1994: I come back to the Reseda house after visiting with some friends.  The gentleman was quite eager that day.  As soon as I entered the door, he exclaimed, "Come here!  You must see!"  The only other time I remembered him that happy before that date was when he married the gentlewoman.  I asked what was going on.  He kept directing me to the doorless linen closet in the Reseda house.  He pointed to the bottom shelf, but without lighting I did not see anything.  I flipped the light switch on.  There was a grey furball laying in there!!!  As I looked closer, I saw that it was a calico cat.  Later on she would be named Jasmine.
Year of 1995: The year went on without any incidents that I remember.
May and June 1996: May was my prom.  I am glad that I had supportive people to help me through it.  A month later, I graduated high school and the four were there for me.  I also had other relatives at the ceremonies as well.  It was a blast.  I went to Disneyland afterwards.  The following day I was very exhausted.
Fall 1996: I started college.  It was scarey.  Now it is not scarey and I am in my fourth year.  The gentleman and gentlewoman have been gracious enough to let me stay in the Reseda home all this time.
1997: A new black and white addition to the family.  No, it's not an old television set.  It is a new furry critter which graciously was named Allison.  At first she was not called Allison.  The five thought that Allison was an "Aladdin."  When the mistake was discovered, the five started calling her "Alassin."  I said Alassin so fast one day my tongue slipped and said Allison.  Her name has stuck since then.  It also was the year I gave the gentlewoman and gentleman a #3 birthday candle.
1998: I remet an old friend from junior high school.  She introduced me to a church.  September 1998 I was baptized.  The majority of my family was there.  I was so happy.  I had just told my family about the event no more than two days before it.  I had bought the gentleman and gentlewoman a cake since they did not have a reception to their wedding.  I decorated their card table in pink and frills.  It was sweet.  I played the song you hear in the background and lit candles for them.
1999: I am no longer with the church.  My junior high friend and I have been together for almost a year now since the remeeting.  Her and I are best friends and I know it would not have happened without the support of the gentleman and gentlewoman.  I am so greatful that they allow her over to the Reseda house.  One of the five moved out after graduating from high school.  She is now attending college and holds a job.  Another of the five graduated elementary school and is about to start junior high.  It's September 2, 1999 and the gentlewoman and gentleman will have been married five years when 10:00am rolls in tomorrow.  They are going to Las Vegas to relive the experience there.  I am so proud of them.
If you haven't figured out already, the gentleman and gentlewoman are you two.  Yes, the ones who have read this all the way through to the bottom here.  I've got one one more surprise for you.
