Nothing is Certain
Nothing is for certain
Over in the east, the sun will sure rise
But not for certain as a vision in your eyes
The moon will be present, each and every night
But the clouds will decide if the moon is in sight
The stars will shine but only sometimes
The hiding of such is the oldest of crimes
Everyone will die, but only physically
The soul may live but that's up to thee
The streams will flow as long as there's rain
But when comes a drought, the streams will seem plain
Nothing is for certain, not even a drip
Nothing is for certain, except for true friendship
