Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

Introduction: All objects when dropped, regardless of weight, should land at the same moment. However, when forces are not equal, things change. We have to see how gravity, mass, and angle combine to change the time for gravity.

MATERIALS: 1 BACKBOARD

1 SODA CAN
1 STOPWATCH
1 ERASER
1 RULER

PROCEDURES: 1) Determine mass of object

2) Create ramp with backboard.
3) Measure angles
4) Drop object down ramp and time it
5) Repeat twice
6) Repeat process with other object
7) Determine variables

DATA:

EQUATIONS:

RESULTS:

CONCLUSIONS: The combination of the raised inclination, combined with the increase in mass, increase the results.
