Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were large antoginists towards each other in their time. They were alike and different in many ways. They also both, alog with most everything in history have, there good sides as well as their bad. Adams "lucked out" in recieving the presidency first. At that time runner-up for the presidency became vice-president, giving that title to Jefferson. During the Adams administration America was on un-friendly terms with France. To Adams' credit he was able to pull through the entire ordeal without bringing awar between "The red, white, and blue" and "The red, white, and blue." Against him though he turned America into, probably , the closest America has ever come to tyranny.
