Although visual arts remained a hobby, Brian preferred to play sports and piano rather than to continue his studies in art. It was not until he attended the University of Toronto Schools (UTS) that he began drawing and painting regularly again. During his six years at UTS, Brian took visual arts for 4 years (Grades 9 to 12). Under the instruction of Mr. Don Boutros, Mrs. Ann Unger, and Mr. William Tipova, Brian further developed his drawing and painting skills. He also dabbled in oil painting and photography.
Brian completed a portrait painting course at the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) in the summer of 1999. He is currently practising law in Toronto, having completed his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and his Hons.B.Sc. from University of Toronto.
Brian was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1981. He took an interest in drawing, especially maps, cars, and airplanes, at an early age. As a young child, he studied art under the tutelage of several art teachers. During these two-plus years, Brian was exposed to basic drawing and painting techniques in pencil, pastel, and watercolour.
