The Mystery of the Lost Heroes !

Once upon a time, some people still remember the era, Rastapopoulos was an ingredient of the messy Rhythm & Rock soufflé, which origins from the wild dark forests of Värmland. In the beginning they were no more than an unpolished gem, but soon they crystallized themself, and left the mediocrities behind crawling in the remnants

 

They led an abundant gathering of lost and wandering souls back on track to revive the mysterious extacy of real Beat & Base. A new religion was founded.

One day, however, they disppeared. Noone really understood the fact until it was too late and the point of no return had been reached. Rumours were spreading like avalanches among the professionals claiming Rastapopoulos had gone underground to get indefinitely stoned. Their fans were of another opinion, stating the band were aliens from a distant galaxy, and just spent a couple of years on Earth to associate with the infinite number of groupies. Some even claim that they will return on the day of the new millenium. Others suggest Rastapopoulos was a reincarnation of Mozart and The Beach Boys, and will reincarnate  once again as the successors of the New Kids on the Block, or rejuvenate into the Swedish analogy to Hanson.

 

But, to all of you mourning out there, keep tight, we have managed to save some lyrics from evil plagiarists like Stock, Aitken & Waterman, Ingela Pling" Forsman and David Bowie. Photos are of course hard to get by, but there are a few. And the most inspiring of all is that there still exists a recording from one of their best performances, Live at Cinema, which might will be distributed as a limited and numbered edition, for true fans only !!!
