Nathaniel G. Lew is Assistant Professor of Music in the Department of Fine Arts at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont, where he teaches music history, music theory, and other subjects, and directs the college Chorale and Chamber Singers. |
He is also a member of the professional vocal ensemble Counterpoint, directed by Robert DeCormier. |
Prof. Lew received his Ph.D. in Musicology (the History and Literature of Music) from the Music Department of the University of California, Berkeley. His dissertation was entitled A New and Glorious Age: Constructions of National Opera in Britain, 1945-1951. |
