Look at the pictures of Wily E. Coyote. Can you look at those pictures and say that this cartoon is not a violent show for children to be watching? I think not! The entire cartoon consistes of no dialogue, only a "Beep, Beep" from the road runner. So children can't learn vocabulary from this show. They only learn that it is funny to try and kill a road runner. Wily E. uses impressive weapons that look fun to play with so children are going to go out and make their own weapons to play with and learn how to shoot birds and animals. This show teaches children that it is funny to hurt others. I don't think this show is an educational cartoon that children can learn from. |
