Changing Your Default Home Page

In Netscape

Open your browser
The default home page is set as Derwentside College Home Page (College only)
Go up to Options on the menu bar
Scroll down to General Preferences
Choose the Appearance Tab
In the Browser Starts With: box type in your new home page location.
Take a screen shot as evidence.
Now click the Home button and your new home page will be loaded.
Your new home page will be kept for this session only, the College's defaults being restored when you log off from the system.

In Explorer

Open your browser

Go up to View on the menu bar
Scroll down to Options
Choose the Navigation Tab
In the Address: box type in your new home page location.
Click the Apply button.
Take a screen shot as evidence.
Then click the OK button
Now click the Home button and your new home page will be loaded.
Your new home page will be kept for this session only, the College's defaults being restored when you log off from the system.
