30/10/03: Thursday again... I see a pattern here... Been having a back aches the whole week. Guess been sitting at my desk doing assignments for too long. It hurts so bad when I walk up the stairs and when I go to Uni.. Last night we had our end-of-year dinner, the theme was Halloween being that its on Saturday.. Go figure. Anyways, was rushing around yesterday, had a presentation for Organisational Development.. Oh my gawd, that was a painful experience, we could have done it better. I think that there was an unequal distribution of work, but hmmmm what is done is done. Argggh... need to do really really well for the exams. Anyway rushed back to college, made our wings, decorated the dining room with material down the windows, gummy snakes and frogs and Jack-O Lanterns as a centrepiece. Gil, Stef and me decorated the JRCR... lots of cobwebs all around and broomsticks and a cauldron full of candy. Durrow girls and Gillian put up the finishing touches to the dining hall. Dining hall seriously transformed from a drab eating place, to a slighly more dark and drab eating space. Hahahaahahahahaha. Halloween Pictures could probably give you an idea of what goes on in Trinity. Wen, Stef, Nic and I came as four dark fairies. Hahahaha, go figure.... I'm Fairy-Dah... ROFL.
23/10/03: Thursday, class at 2 I think. Got up at 7 and collapsed or rather concussed until 9. Slept at about 4 plus in the morning. Trouble going to bed. Too much stuff in my head. Week went by so fast. I don't know how the semester went by so fast. Many changes happening in my life but still I remain the same. Assignment about the architecture of a balanced scorecard in CommunityWest. Oh my gawd how the heck am I gonna attempt to complete this. I think I can somehow or another. Haven't been salsaing for a number of weeks. Its alright, its all good. Work comes first somehow.
18/10/03: Trinity Ball was at the Novotel Langley. Had a 'ball' of a time. Corny I know but cannot resist it. It was so much better than the balls that I had been to. Perhaps the fact that I knew most of the people there and that I had a great time. Not having a date wasn't a big problem. I had the other RLMS and my friends to spend time with. Music was pretty good actually. Most of my Hull girls were there and we had a blast. Pretty weird stuff happened that night, but let's just say that we're just gonna forget about it.
10/10/03: Brilliant day, the sun, the s and and the sea. With a good book to read what more can I ask for. Looked forward to today since morning. 3 hour seminars are not feasible on a gloriously bright and hot Friday morning. Cottesloe was crowded but amazingly it was quiet and peaceful. Albeit the copious amounts of sunscreen on my face and and body, my skin hurt, my eyes hurt, my cheeks hurt. That was after 2 hours plus of frying in the sun. But I'm still in a pretty good mood. The whole hanging out at the beach, hadn't done that in a pretty long time. Used to do that alot when I was in secondary school. It feels great to take a break from assignments.
Got to finish my Telstra assignment by Sunday. Organise meetings for next week, the earlier the better. And complete most of my readings for OD. Try to do meetings before Wednesday. So that basically means my monday is dominated by meetings in the afternoon and Tuesdays in between lectures. Argh! Ok, focus, you're still in a jubilant mood.
Found out Stadler's moving out, and moving in with his parents at Cottesloe. Going to miss the bouncy boy and his incessant. "It's good, it's good, it's good, it's nice!"
9/10/03: Received a phonecall from a certain someone. :)Was shocked at first to hear from him so quick. Nervousness all around, heart palpitates and laughing fits from yours truly, "Weird", was the word of the day. Great voice but could sense he was nervous too. I was really glad to finally speak with him.
Made a huge stack of waffles for Hull's Waffle Night. Ice cream, toppings, maple syrup, butter, whipped cream and gelato were on hand for everyone to slap onto their waffles.
8/10/03: Caught up with Cindy for about half an hour. Hadn't seen her for a loooooooooooong while. Chest hurts.. traumatised by eggs.
7/10/03: Mel's birthday at Paddy McGuires. Sports Dinner, Louise received the award for Sportswoman of the Year for Badminton. Last year it was Michelle who won the award. Very proud of my friends.
6/10/03: Argentinian Tango Class. Hard work to walk and maintain posture. So different from salsa and bachata. Really enjoyed it though. First day of Uni, and oh the amount of work is neverending. Room's a wreck with all my journal articles and notes.
