(1) Henry II, "The quarrelsome", Duke of Bavaria. Son of Henry I and Matilda. Married Judith of Bavaria and had son Brunon I. (2) Brunon I, Count of Brunswick, died 972. Son of Henry II and Judith. Married Hildeswinde of Croatie and had son Brunon II. (3) Brunon II, Margrave of Saxony. Died 1006. Son of Brunon I and Hildeswinde. Married Gisele of Schwaben and had son Ludolphe. (4) Ludolphe of Saxony, Margrave of Saxony. Son of Brunon II and Gisele. Married Gertrude and had daughter Agatha. (5) Agatha, daughter of Ludolphe and Gertrude. Married Edward "The Outlaw" Aethling and had daughter Margaret the Aethling. Some sources identify her as the daughter of Emperor Henry, but she was only noted as his kinswoman. Other sources call her the daughter of Stephen the Saint of Hungary, but most agree upon her being the daughter of Ludolphe of Saxony.
