This page is dedicated to all EOD techs who have given their lives in the line of duty to their country.
These soldiers gave their all so that you could live in peace.
Indianhead Maryland is the home of the Expolsive Ordnance school. This is one of the toughest schools
for our soldiers to complete. Only the best of the best come out as Explosive Ordnance techs. Located on the grounds of
Indianhead is the EOD Memorial. The four pillars stand proudly, in silence, a tribute to the service of those soldiers who
gave their lives for the betterment of our wonderful country. Each pillar represents a different branch of the United States
military forces.
Due to the heightened risk of sudden death, bomb squad techs must have the mental qualities to accept it as a part of daily life.
In this close-knit EOD community, they are well aware of the 162 American service members that have died as a result of EOD missions.
