***PARIS: even better than da real thing!

From friday 14th till sunday 16th, aproximately 500 young european greens "did a good & smooth thing" in and around da city of lights, Paris. Our mainbase was a tentcamp, in Fablines.
The Belgian delegation - 11 Flemish and 12 Walloons - had more than just "contact" with the other greenminded youth. We discussed the Green Charter, danced to da music, had a huge intereuropean PicNic and most of all: a Green Love Parade!!!
This GL Parade took place at saturday afternoon, from 1 to 5 p.m. We walked and danced through some huge famous streets of the French Capital, dressed in green clothes and banners. De 'decoration' came from an authentic American School bus, a big band, crazy musicians and da media...
Just for da bookmarks: there were 150 Germans, 100 Italians, 25 Belgians, 10 Spanish, 20 Finns, 40 French, 5 Ukranians, some Dutch, some English, and probably some others too, but....
To conclude,
Da Paris weekend was more than just a meeting of Young European Greens: da enthousiasm dripped off. In other (English) words:everybody saw it was great and wants a lot more!

Ook jij bent vriendelijk uitgenodigd op het OEPS! praatcafé over studietoelagen, inspraak, proffenevaluatie, jokerbeurzen(!), onderwijsvormen, inschrijvingsgelden, mobiliteit en nog veel meer.
Gastspreker is Ludo Sannen, Vlaams (Limburgs...)volksvertegenwoordiger van Agalev: een uitstekend spreker, met deskundige uitleg en informatie over onderwijs én met 2 grote luisterende oren!!!
Kom allen op dinsdag 1 december om 20.00h naar café Den HIGLANDER, Aan het UFSIA, schuin tegenover den ACCO.
