Why does Microsoft is going to fail

Last Updated:30/06/98

Microsoft and the Windows world are not going to fail because of the bugs and crashes, these can be covered by their marketing team

The thing that is going to fail the Windows world is the simple fact that the Windows world prevents any form of creativity

I'll give you an example.let's say someone named Joe, and he uses Windows 95.

One day, Joe has an idea.he wants to improve the task bar in some way.now, let's suppose Joe knows some programming, but the problem is that there is no way he can improve it by himself, but he has to ask from Microsoft that maybe one day will include it on a future version of Windows that will cost money of course

But even if Joe will have the source code for the task bar, he will be in a problem, because there is not one standard compiler on the market, and it is controlled by properity compilers from various software makers, and the task bar source will be probably written in Visual C++, while he has Borland C++ for Windows

In the Linux/FreeBSD Joe will have none of these problems, for the simple reason that there is one compiler and almost all of the source code is free and published

More examples soon...
