Favorite Phrases of GOD

I can do all things in Christ strengthening me.

I am in God's hand. God is with me. The Kingdom of God is within me.

Let nothing frighten you. Let nothing disturb you. Everything passes away except God. He alone is sufficient.

God is the source of all energy. He giveth the power to the faint.

In Him we live. Prayer is God's will. I come that thou might have life...that thou might have it abundantly.

This is the day which the Lord has created for us. Rejoice and be glad in it. (This was one of Dad's favorites!)

Fret not thyself. The peace of God is touching you.

So long as thy power has kept me sure it will still lead me and thou will keep him in perfect peace.

Tranquility - Serenity -- I believe that this is going to be a beautiful day. I can handle all problems which arise.

Do things at God's rate - slow down.

Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto thee.

All things are possible to him that believeth in ye have faith.

Have faith in God. Faith power works wonders.

I expect the best and with God's help I will attain the best.

With God's help, I am now emptying my mind of all anxieties, fears, and insecurities. Worry tends to choke us. God is filling my mind with courage, peace, and calm.

Think on these and you will find peace.

My father carried these phrases with him. As he would find a scripture that he liked, he would add it to the list. The drive for him to do this was his love of God, and his need for consolation after a bout with depression. When my father passed away, the phrases were in his wallet. I hope that I can always live my life according to "Fowler's Favorite Phrases of God"
