You are quickly
approaching
adulthood,
and soon will be in
pursuit of
establishing your own life.
Looking at
you I cannot help but reflect
upon how I
felt during the same period
of my life.
Please allow me to give you
some fatherly
advice -
Life is an
ongoing transition.
Each decision
that we make
leads to its
various avenues.
We, for the
most part,
determine
if we are to be
happy or sad
-
a success
or a failure.
With each
choice, we
either accelerate
or
retard the
development
of transferable
skills needed to cope with life's
changing situations.
The best advise
that I can
give is that you must try
to live a
wholesome life.
Become involved
in activities that will
inherently
enhance your self-esteem, while
simultaneously
helping your fellow person.
Be active,
not passive. When you fall down
baby "Get
Up!"
And when you
are lost and confused,
not knowing
what to do - "Trust in God,
and He'll
see you through."
It is my sincerest
prayer that God will bless
all of your
decisions, and direct your
footsteps.
Oh please, always remember
