Replies to entries from the Guestbook

Well I felt that since I've started this page I've gotten some good response from my guestbook, some people writing entries the size of a small essay. I was hoping my page would be more of an open forum, but unfortunately, people would rather sign my guestbook then take the time to write an essay to post on my page. Why? Because they're lazy? Who knows. I felt that they should be posted, easy to find, and I wanted to post my response to it, or how i reacted to it (i.e.-sent them an e-mail, etc.)So anyways, have fun. Also, I won't post their name or e-mail address(you can find it yourself) and also, I will not post private guestbook signings. So have fun with it.-Sean X

"At first you say, "Christians, the worst hate group of all." Then in the end you ask Christians to partake in attacking a certain church. What is wrong with you. Attack me & my belifs, then ask me to join you. You sound worse than an uneducated racist my son. If a group of white skin heads were asshole I would not hate every single skin in the US, but it seems as you have done exactly that. I was driving to church last weekend when I saw this horrid billboard. It said there were two choices -- Believe in Jesus and go to heaven, or don't and go to hell. As a Chistian & a human being, I was insulted. Some baptist church was trying to scare people into following one single belief. As a Christian (Catholic), I am taught that as long as a person is true to what they believe they will go to heaven. I am also taught to love "fags" or anyone else as God does. And about the mixed relations thing, don't go by what you 'hear,' go by figuring it out yourself. I 'heard' on Jerry Springer that blacks were the superior race because that is what one group of black supremists interpreted out of the bible. So because your little neighbor thinks that God is against mixed relationships, doesn't mean that is what is being said. So before you go attacking long standing religions, maybe you need to grow up & learn to love instead of hating something you obviously know nothing about. Don't be like an ingorant racist....Educate youself. "

I recieved this little tidbit in my guestbook and somewhat started to wonder who was really the ignorant one. The writer of this entry seems to disreguard that directly after I said that Christians were the worst hate group, I said "that may be a little close-minded, just like all the close-minded christians that I despise, so maybe I should clarify that a little bit. The christians that I'm referring to that could be classify as a hate group are the militant, hardcore christians who show no tolerance for anything other than God and what god sees as good." Now it should be taken in to consideration also that many interpet the bible differently, so to different people, God sees different good and bad. Then she mentions that I said that other Christians should voice their opinions about Westboro Church. I don't think many Christians, at least that I've encountered, think that God hates. Note the writer also pointed out that the billboard which offended them so terribly was put up by a BAPTIST church, and Westboro is a Baptist church, which preaches that God hates fags, and so should you. Also, the point I was attempting to prove by throwing in the part about mixed relations was, once again, everyone interpets the bible different. Racists, many, have a tendenacy to justify their hate with the bible. Just another interpetion. This person presented themselves well, but in the wrong way, they missed some key terms that were defining points in the essay. I e-mailed them long ago pointing out where they were wrong, citing several examples from my essay and www.godhatesfags.com and their essay, but I've yet to get a reply. I guess they got just a little too much in a hurry. Oh well...
