The Socialist Party of Malaysia protem committee would like to thank all comrades and friends for your kind support and solidarity. Your contribution will go a long way in helping the party further fight for its course.

We would also like to thank the many people who performed free and in good spirit to help entertain the people at the dinner. We would like to thank especially Band Rakyat, Komrad, Alaigal, Meru Tin committee, Eddie Khoo, Elizabeth and her band members.

PSM DINNER - 27^TH. AUGUST - BANGUNAN PELADANG

Around three hundred people attended the PSM dinner, which was held in the newly renovated building (formerly the NUPW headquarters). The program started late due to the heavy traffic jam. The hall was decorated with the party's logo.

Among the items was a video presentation, a poem by Eddie Khoo, Several English and Malay songs by Band Rakyat, a sketch by Komrad, two Tamil songs from Alaigal, a Chinese song from Meru Tin residents. There were also two speeches. One by the chairperson of the Socialist Party of Malaysia Sdr. Nasir while the second by the chairperson of the Sg. Nipah action committee Sdr. Mohan. Eli and her band sang the Red Flag. A 15 minutes, video presentation was also shown at the start.

The night ended with the revolutionary song - The International sang together with the band. The International though famous throughout the world, perhaps was sang after a long time in Malaysia.
