I took this picture in Placentia Bay.  I believe this a type of Plover, but I am far from a bird expert.  Despite the harsh climate, there is wildlife here in Newfoundland.  Most of the bird species are migratory, with the exception of a few species of sea birds like seagulls, kittiwakes, and puffins. <--Previous  Next-->  Index
