Some of these pictures were actually taken around St. John's, but not in the city.  This one was taken in St. John's Bay about a half mile outside the harbour entrance.  We were returning from a whale watching excursion at about 10 P.M. and the moon was rising just above the water.  Have you ever tried to take a picture from a rocking boat?  It isn't easy, especially with a long lens. <--Previous  Next-->  Index
