I took this picture in Twillingate Newfoundland.  In case you are wondering, it is a broken lobster trap with a rotting seal skull on top of it.  There are a few things that bother me about Newfoundland, but the one thing I absolutely hate about Newfoundland is sealing.  There are five countries in the world where sealing is legal.  One is Canada, one is Norway, and the other three are developing world nations like Namibia.  Anyway, it endures as a part of the cultural heritage of the island.  I don't like it, but I am a vegetarian and you might say that colors my opinion.  I encourage the reader to become aquatinted with arguments from both sides and to make up their own minds.  (I apologize if I have offended anyone.) <--Previous  Next-->
