Same as other...I have already received letter deeming my property as a seasonal dwelling (57 Brightwater, Old Lyme Shores)... if this lawsuit goes through, do we get to reap the benefits? or are we out of the loop altogether because of the letter. I have copies of letters sent to the town protesting this ruling....does this count in any way? Please let me know.

I have already received mail indicating that I cannot use my home as a year round place. What do I do now? I do not want to be taxed as a year round resident when I am told I can only use my home as a summer place. Please reply.

My property at 56 Center Beach Ave is classified as seasonal use only. My question is why am I being taxed as all the others. Should'nt I be taxed less? Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do besides trying to fight city hall? Chris

Received notice of Designation recorded on 7/25/00 stating my cottage is Seasonal Use. I guess nothing more can be done because it always has been used as seasonal, but was hoping in the future that we could make it year round. Chris

The town of Old Lyme has for years held the "beach people" in check and have crapped all over us. When they initiated the 10,000sf. requirement it was to squash any improvements to improve our property.This beach community and their taxes support the town of O.L. I say srew em
