There is a move in the big-brother government beaurocracy to mark all of mankind. It is brought to light every time they speak of how they want to give us all smart cards, socialist national identification cards, health care cards, and a host of other atrocities that will absolutely demolish freedom and our way of life as we know it. It is also evident as we discover, bit by bit, the increasing consolidation and cross-referencing of government databases, all designed to intrude into more and more areas of our lives. Soon there will be nothing private or hidden about you in the eyes of big brother! All of your personal data will be on-file and ready to retrieve and manipulate by the feds. Well just imagine that. Is it because they don't like us?!
There is just too much money to be made by corporations that can develop and sell this trash to the government which is, by the way, the largest buyer of goods in the country. Reportedly, they are already selling identification and tracking devices to the governments of Hong Kong, China, Singapore, The Netherlands, the list just goes on and on. There are also many other reasons to mark all of mankind. For example, credit card companies are pushing for a mark, due to all of the money being lost each year on bogus credit cards! Think of the untold billions that are lost each year due to tax evasion. Big Brother would love to get his greedy hands on that! Cash is going to be gone before long. And whenever you might buy something small from one of your friends or your church, you will have to pay sales tax on that, too! Consider what an article in the Colorado Christian News had to say:

They forgot one little detail - they forgot to ask We the People! Those advocating the mark used to only speak about it behind closed doors. But not anymore. They are as bold as can be about pressing their socialist garbage onto everyone else, no matter what the cost in Freedom is. They do not care about you and me, the common people, because they already have their freedom. They are rich enough to buy any amount of freedom and power they want! These people just make me so disgusted because they care nothing about America, the country our fathers fought and died for. They care nothing for sound Biblical values - just money, that's it. The Word of God is the only thing solid that we have to stand on, and the fact that America is the only nation (besides Israel) to be completely founded on Godly principles.
In God's prophetic Holy Word, in the Book of Revelation, chapter 13 verses 16-17, it says:
A lot of people used to contend on how it will come and what form it will take , but now it appears that the answer is quite obvious. It will most likely be the implantable biochip. This technology is coming out of Colorado (I believe). The number used will be an 18-digit mesh-block configuration. The first six digits used will be the birthdate of the individual, the second six will be the zone (one of the 99 UN biospheres, which are also further divided), and the last six will be a unique code, such as DNA or retina data. (By the way, the yy field in the birthday will not have to be Y2K compatible because it is used simply as a unique number.)

It is a transponder-style circuit that is activated by a low-frequency RF signal. When activated, it transmits a permanently coded identification number to the appropriate receiver. It is 11mm in length, with a diameter of 2.1mm (approx. the size of a grain of rice). I could go on and on about this one, but the fact that it's coming is as plain as day.
