Notes to the Professor

- Throughout this assignment I have referred to the relevant citizens of the United States of America by their more common name of  'Americans'. I accept the political incorrectness of this term, however for the sake of convenience 'Americans' shall be used. A noteworthy addition to this statement is the fact that John Adams, in his inaugural speech to congress, referred the citizens of the US as Americans, only eight years after his country's birth. Hence this corruption is not a new phenomenon.
