Recent CIA revelations tell us that 13 of the 18 nuclear warheads possessed by the
Chinese are targeted on cities in the United States. Recent acquisitions of computer
technologies from the United States have made the accuracy of these missiles such
that they must now be considered a threat to the citizens of this country (see unethical
act #5). This, coupled with the numerous illegal campaign contributions that originated
in China, seems to lead any one with half a brain to ask,"Was there a quid pro quo?"
The FBI thought that an Independent Counsel should be invoked -
"The fact that the Justice Department advised the White House against granting the
1998 waiver for Loral -- which is the subject of a separate criminal probe for allegedly
transferring sensitive technology to China -- is regarded by FBI officials as the kind of
internal conflict of interest that also justifies turning the matter over," says Robert Suro
of The Washington Post. It also seems that nearly everyday, news reporters are turning
up information that shouts for an Independent Counsel and leaves us thinking, "Where
are the Justice Department investigators?". But this is only the beginning.
On June 4, 1998 CIA director George J. Tenet called to testify before the Senate
Intelligence Committee refused to discuss or reveal his agencies' analysis of what Loral
Space and Communications may have revealed to China after the 1996 crash of a
missile carrying a U.S. made satellite and the encryption technology that mysteriously
disappeared after the crash. He cited a last minute request from none other than Janet
Reno. It was only after committee chairman Richard Shelby (R-Alabama) pointed out
that the law requires the CIA director to share "significant" intelligence with the
congressional oversight committees that Attorney General Reno relented and allowed
the testimony. Is she so ignorant of the law that she doesn't know this?
The only other rational explanation is that she is aiding in a coverup of facts related to
this investigation. She claimed that it would potentially damage an on going
investigation. Oh come on, the Justice Department seems to be learning most of what it
knows from the D.C. newspapers. I mean this investigation has been going on since
early 1996. How long does this have to be hidden from the citizens of this country?
Senator Alan Specter had this to say about Ms. Reno, "I think we are all thoroughly
disgusted by her." Senator Fred Thompson is on record as saying, "Would any previous
attorney general gotten away with it?"
The plain as day fact is this, there is specific and credible evidence that the president
and vice-president have committed criminal violations of the Federal Election Campaign
Act. In failing to appoint an Independent Counsel Ms. Reno has violated the independent
counsel statute. Charles LaBella, who headed the Justice Department investigation on
campaign finance that authored a 100 page memo urging for the appointment of an
independent counsel, along with FBI director Louis Freeh, who authored a 27 page
memo urging the Attorney General to appoint an independent counsel, have both
reached the same conclusion, appoint an independent counsel.
Freeh, in his 27 page memo devoted to this topic, went so far as to say that "she was
flatly misreading the law by not seeking an independent counsel." The evidence is so
overwhelming my 13 year old daughter could prosecute this case. And this is not the
only investigation she is fouling up in her position of chief obstructor of justice. Donald
C. Smaltz, the independent counsel who has brought an indictment against former
agriculture secretary Mike Espy, says that Ms. Reno blocked his investigation and
"wouldn't even touch" an allegation his probe turned up about President Clinton.
In an interview broadcast on PBS's FRONTLINE, Smaltz described a 1995 meeting with
Reno and her top aides after she blocked his request to expand his probe to include an
allegation that Tyson Foods officials had delivered cash to then Arkansas Governor Bill
Clinton. Janet Reno when asked about Smaltz's comments said she was "mystified",
once again leaving us with only two choices about Ms. Reno. Either she is really, really
dumb, or really, really corrupt. Let's review her total record; to this date she has taken
no action on the 900 FBI files that were illegally acquired by White House operatives
(see #45 & #6), she was the person in charge of the WACO disaster (see #25), ...
She has not acted on the illegal fund raising that Al Gore engaged in from inside the
White House (see#22), she has never acted on the Clinton administration collecting and
leaking to the press disparaging information from State Department files (see #21), she
has never acted on Charlie Trie, who is likely a communist Chinese agent and is a
prominent figure in the campaign finance scandals (see # 19), she has never acted on
the illegal fund raiser at the Buddhist temple in California (see #18), she allowed the
president to set up a legal defense fund that was illegally given tax exempt status (see
# 10), she refused to act on the mountain of evidence that Hazel O'Leary accepted
bribes as head of the Department of Energy (see #9), ...
She has not acted on any of the evidence against John Huang, who may have been
another communist Chinese spy (see # 7), she allowed many of the potential witnesses
in the campaign finance scandals to leave the country (see # 5), she was instrumental
in prematurely ending the investigation into the corruption that surrounded the late Ron
Brown (see # 3), and just today she was named in contempt of congress by
Congressman Dan Burton's committee for not handing over the memos from Louis
Freeh and Charles La Bella. I say ...hey hey, ho ho, Janet Reno has got to go...hey

It should be pretty obvious to those of you who
have read this compilation that I have no respect for the man occupying the highest office in the land. Yet my disgust for this
man is topped by one other group, those that re-elected Bill Clinton to office in 1996 and continue to support him in public
opinion polls.
What have we become as a nation that we care more for the money in our pockets than the morality of our society? Is it a coincidence that the first president, George Washington, so honored the truth that he would not lie about anything including the felling of the famous "cherry tree" and from this tradition, truth or myth it doesn't matter, sprang the greatest nation the world has ever known? A perfect society and government, hardly. But none the less a society without equal. And now we find ourselves at a defining moment in history. How we respond to the crisis at hand will determine to a great extent what the future will bring. If we are willing to accept the swirling cesspool surrounding the president, the future will bring more of the same. We can re-establish the dignity and respect due the holder of the office of the presidency, if we hold those who occupy the office to a very, very high standard. Indeed the standard should be high enough that only the best available leaders of both political parties are qualified to hold this office. A leader that we could all look up to and respect would do a lot to reshape the moral fabric of our society. While this president has seemed to set new moral lows on a daily basis, it is a greater sin that we as a society have viewed this behavior acceptable. Whether he is responsible for our economic well being or not, we can not long endure with leadership that is so corrupt. The freedoms and traditions that have been sacrificed in the name of prosperity will not be easily reestablished.
"The simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie. One word of truth outweighs the world."
--Alexander Solzhenitsyn
"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need
of masters." --Dr. Benjamin Franklin
"I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers, and it was not there; in her fertile land and boundless prairies, and it was not there. Not until I went to the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great." --Alexis de Toqueville, Democracy in America, 1826
