  • #15 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
Shortly after TWA flight 800 fell from the sky, President Clinton named a White House Commision on Aviation Safety. He went to great lengths to get Victoria Cummock to join the commission. Mrs. Cummock had lost her husband in the Pan Am disaster over Lockerbie Scotland. Since that time she had devoted much time and energy to improving airline safety. Vice President Al Gore was named to head the commission. Now it seems Mrs. Cummock has filed suit in federal court against the Vice President and the Department of Transportation.

The charges are (1) The Vice President pressured her to abandon her call for counter-terrorism measures and (2) he refused to publish her 42 page dissent despite promising her publicaly at the Commission's last meeting that her dissent would be included in the final report. Her suit demands access to the memos and files she claims Al Gore's staff withheld from the commissioners, so a new dissent can be prepared. Why would the Vice President do this? Could the fact that the airline contributed over $500,000 in soft money to the DNC just days after the aviation commission was established have anything to do with it? Maybe, for it appears that anti terrorism measures would have cost the airlines upwards of $1 billion dollars.

But wait there is more! The head of the National Transportation Safety Board (NSTB) Jim Hall (a longtime Al Gore crony), has announced that the crash of flight 800 was due to a mechanical failure despite a lack of any evidence to support his announcement. We may never know the answers to the questions raised by this controversy, but we do know we aren't being told the truth. This isn't the first disaster that the Clinton Administration has used for political advantage. These people have no shame.

The security at The White House is the best in the world. Despite this incredible resource, several people with warrants for their arrest have been admitted to The White House. When entering The White House, you must present your SS#, driver's license, give your last address, and mother's maiden name. A complete check is then run on you, accessing data banks throughout the United States and the world. Any past criminal record or current arrest warrant will show up within minutes. When this happens, the Secret Service alerts the staffer in charge of the particular function that the person was to attend.

Well it seems that several invitees failed to clear these prefatory security checks, and in fact on more than one occasion a criminal with a warrant out for his/her arrest was admitted. When a Chinese gun runner is admitted for a coffee with the president for instance, everybody including the president has been alerted to the fact that a Chinese gun runner will be at the coffee. When the president has been confronted with embarrassing information such as this, his response has been "I didn't know. No one told me."

Now you are probably wondering, just who has the authority to (1) clear these people for admittance and (2) prevent the Secret Service from arresting them on the spot? If you guessed President Bill Clinton, you can pat yourself on the back. I guess it's true what they say that birds of a feather flock together.

  • #13 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
According to United States criminal code a person commits perjury when "...having taken an oath before a competent tribunal, officer, or person, in any case in which the law of the United States authorizes an oath to be administered, that he will testify, declare, depose, or certify truly, or that any written testimony, declaration, deposition, or certificate by him described, is truthful, willingly and contrary to such oath states or subscribes any material matter contrary to such oath states or subscribes any material matter which he does not believe to be true is guilty of perjury...".

On April 28, 1996, President Bill Clinton gave a videotaped deposition which was played for the Mc Dougal-Tucker criminal trial jury on May 9, 1996. Among the subjects covered was a $300,000 SBIC loan from David Hale to Susan Mc Dougal. President Clinton's testimony conflicted that of David Hale's. In early 1997 Jim Mc Dougal decided to cooperate with Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr. In reviewing the president's testimony, he cited 19 separate instances of perjury by the president. He then passed a lie detector test. Boy I sure am glad that Janet Reno isn't in charge of this one.

  • #12 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
Although many have called for them, President Clinton has yet to release his medical records to the people of this country. Citing privacy as his reason the president has repeatedly avoided dealing with this issue. This administration has used misinformation to deflect inquiries from the press, including starting rumors that the president has had an embarrassing medical condition related to his many documented affairs with other women. Bob Dole teased the president about this constantly during the 1996 run for the presidency. Still no medical records. Upon arriving in the White House the doctor assigned to the President resigned.

This is highly unusual since this is not a political position and doctors who serve one president have always stayed on to serve the next president. All of this has led to much speculation as to just what is contained in these elusive records. Perhaps the most believable of the theories dedicated to explaining this paradox is that the president has a perforated septum from years of cocaine abuse. His brother, Roger, has been captured on videotape saying he "had to get some cocaine for my brother. He has a nose like a Hoover (vacuum)...".

Add to this that one of his close associates, Dan Lassiter, was convicted of cocaine distribution. Mr. Lassiter was also an employer for Roger Clinton, who was mentioned above. While we may never know for sure, one thing will remain constant, the truth will not come from the Clinton Administration.
