  • #50 in the top 50 countdown of unethical acts from the Clinton administration:
Soon after taking office President Clinton fires all 32 U.S. attorneys and replaces them
with hand picked flunkies including one Paula Casey. It seems MS. Casey (a Clinton campaign worker and former law student) was assigned to the office in Little Rock. From that office she was able to personally quash numerous criminal referals from the Resolution Trust Corporation regarding fraudulent Whitewater loans, check kiting, phony tax deductions, and illegal Clinton campaign contributions. This is characteristic of how the Clintons opperate, move people out of key positions and move "our people" in. They now have many key people in the FBI, CIA, Justice Department, BATF, IRS...."

Seeks to place many of the people who helped them in the quest for office in administration jobs. One of the areas targeted for replacement is the Travel Office. This in itself is totaly justified, however the Clinton's were concerned about firing the people in the travel office because of their popularity with the press corps whose travel they coordinated. So instead of just letting them go, they attempted to frame them (Billy Dale in particular) for embezzelment. Using the FBI and the IRS they assassinated the character of the Travel staff in the press, thus justifing their replacement. Billy Dale was indicted,& offered a plea bargin for guilty plea. Mr Dale's attorney counseled him to take the offer in order to avoid large legal costs, but Mr. Dale insisted on proving himself innocent. $400,000 in legal bills later the case came to trial where Billy Dale was aquitted in a trial that lasted all of 1 hour,45 minutes (the government had no case). President Clinton's comment to Mr. Dale was "I hope you can get on with your life". After the 1994 elections the Republican Congress held hearings on the matters discussed above. The congress approved a measure that reimbursed Mr. Dale for his legal expenses. President Clinton however did not release the funds until February 1997! Shame on you Mr. President.

William Kelley attends a town hall meeting in Chicago shortly after Bill Clinton's largest tax increase in the history of the world(future unethical act). During a question and answer period he confronts the president with his campaign promise to cut taxes for the middle class. The president is enraged. After the town hall meeting is over Mr. Kelley is arrested and charged with being in the vicinity of the president. Many months later the charges are finally dropped, when Mr. Kelley announces that he is running for congress.

  • #47 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
President Clinton orders that US toops serving in Macedonia wear the blue berets and sleeve insignias of the UN. One soldier, Michael New, refuses to wear these illegal adornments (legal military uniforms are only those that have been approved by congress). The Commander in Chief takes offense to his orders being ignored and decides to make an example out of Specialist New. On the morning of October 10, Specialist New is pulled from formation and read his rights. When he asks why he must wear these illegal UN items he is told "because they look fabulous" by one officer and "because the President said so" by another. All of this despite article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice which specifically states that "soldiers are to obey only lawful orders". Sadly Specialist New is court martialed and driven from the service of the country he loves so much with a bad conduct discharge. The judge who heard his case refused to hear any evidence that the order given Specialist New was illegal, and even instructed the jury that they could not consider whether the order was illegal. "I regret that I have but one life to give in the defense of my country" Nathan Hale. "Never again should an American be ordered to discard his allegiance to the United States in favor of the United Nations." Michael New. Michael New's struggle to clear his name is continuing today. If you would like to help you can contact: Michael New Legal Defense Fund/Washington, DC/20069-0408. His legal bills are $115,000 + at this time (before his appeal). If you were going to war who would you rather have on your side Michael New or Bill Clinton?

  • #46 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
Prior to the November elections President Clinton travels under great secrecy to the Grand Canyon. After cutting down severl trees and throwing them over the edge of the canyon in order to make a better photo opp, President Clinton announces that 1.3 million acres of Utah have been seized and made into a National Monument. This decision is made without any consultation with any of the elected represenatives of the State of Utah, despite repeated inquiries from those representatives about rumors that were circulating around Washington DC concerning the very action that had just taken place. Despite wanting to be known as the education President, this action will cost the school children of Utah, who depend on revenues from mineral rights leases to fund their schools, 1.1 Trillion (with a T) dollars over the next 50 years. After understandable public outcry, President Clinton promised to make it up to the State of Utah with equivalent federal resources. I wonder which parts of the USA are going to be ceeded over to the State of Utah.

  • #45 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration: During this administration there has been unprecedented illegal use of the FBI. One of the most outrageous acts was obtaining 900+ FBI personal data files. These files were all on Republican congressmen and their staff. They were stored in the basement of the White House for a period of approximately two years. During this time they were made available to many people without adequate security clearance. A log book was kept on who checked out these files for any period of time. The Congressional Committee investigating possible violations in Federal Law surrounding the use or abuse of these files subpoenaed that log book. Careful investigation revealed that many of the pages had been carefully cut out of the log book leaving a blank period of six weeks for which no log information was available. I don't know about you, but six weeksmakes 18 minutes missing from Richard Nixon's tapes seem like a blink of the eye to me.

  • #44 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration: It is customary for legal offices to maintain billing records for services rendered to their clients. It not only ures the firm of being paid what is due for the work preformed it gives the client an accounting of what was done and by whom. In looking into the scandal known as Whitewater, the House banking committee subpoenaed the billing records of the Rose Law firm who was responsible for drawing up loan documents used to purchase land within the Whitewater developement. The documents had been removed from the Rose Law firm offices however. No one seemed to know where they were. It was later learned that Vince Foster removed the billing records from the Rose Law firm prior to the election, presumably this was to hide certain facts from the press and political opponents. After his death the billing records were removed from Mr. Foster's office, but no one seems to know who did it. Shortly after that time they were subpoenaed by the congressional committee. They remained "lost" in White house for over two years until Carol Huber stumbled across them in a book room in the personal quarters of the White House. It is important to note that besides Carol Huber only two other people had access to these PRIVATE quarters. They would be Bill and Hillary Clinton.

  • #43 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
It appears that nothing is sacred for this administration. During the first four years of office, with full approval from President Clinton, the Lincoln bedroom of the White House was "rented" out 938 times. While this administration claims that this historic national property was made available to those supporters that had made significant contributions to the election of Bill Clinton, the facts clearly indicate that the Lincoln bedroom was offered for current donations for the 1996 election. The White House is the property of the citizens of the United States of America. It is maintained by taxes collected from those same citizens. Many of these taxpayers (about 50%) opposed President Clinton's re-election bid. To use this public property to raise funds for a private purpose (re- election) is illegal. Janet Reno, if you are reading this, I have checked it out. It is illegal. You have my word.

  • "...#42 in the top 50 countdown of unethical acts from the Clinton administration:
During the 1996 presidential campaign the White House staff rented phones and the corresponding phone service from a private cocompany specializing in that service. The White House was then used as a base for telephone solicitation during the campaign. Unethical as this may be, it became more so when they didn't pay for the service. As of this date the company that leased the phone system to the White House, still hasn't received all of their equipment back, and are waiting for bills to be paid that were invoiced in September 1996. I guess they found out that character can matter!"

  • "#41 in the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
One of the first actions undertaken by the President was to offer aid to the Officers of the former Soviet Union Army. At the same time, proposed defense cuts, slashed funds intended for United States military officers to help with the costs of moving their families to bases where they were stationed. All in all the US military has suffered greatly under this administration, who seems to see it as a nothing more than a petrie dish for their social experiments.

  • #40 in the top 50 countdown of the most unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
During this administration the Laborers International Union of North America has obtained over $30 million from the EPA and the departments of Labor, Education(?), and Housing and Urban Development -- this after admitting that several of its locals are influenced by organized crime -- Not wishing to seem ungrateful, this same union donated $460,000 to the DNC campaign coffers in 1996. I wonder if they got to attend any of the coffees?

  • #39 in the top 50 countdown of the most unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
During sworn testimony concerning the failed real estate developement "Whitewater", Bill Clinton could not remember any details of any of the events being investigated. Yet his memory was razor sharp as he recalled vivid memories of black churches in his community being burned during his childhood. Only trouble is there were no black churches in his community that burned during his childhood.

  • #38 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
Education in this country is in a crisis. Public confidence in the ability of public schools to educate the youth that will determine the future of the USA is slip sliding away. In Chicago recently hundreds of parents camped out in line for up to five days trying to get their kids into a "magnet" school. Many solutions to this crisis have been proposed. To date the most popular solution is a school voucher (65% to 90% of the population favor this depending on the region surveyed). Despite this wide acceptance President Clinton has stedfastly refused to even study the feasibility of such a program. Since the NEA was a large contributor to the president's re-election, it is quite easy to see how their lobbying could sway his opinion. The total hypocracy of President Clinton's actions is revealed in the choice that he made for his own daughter. No public schools for Chelsea. To her credit Chelsea has achieved academic success in her private school. Yet her father is denying the same opportunity to most of the population of Washington DC and the rest of the US by ignoring the voucher program. Stop liberal elitism. School choice should be for everyone.

  • #37 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
The White House is the home of the leader of the free world. As such it is a symbol of freedom. President Clinton has dishonored the proud tradition of The White House by inviting known terrorists Gerry Adams & Yassar Arafat to plead their cases to him there. These are men with blood on their hands. They are guilty of many crimes against their lawful governments. Those same governments (our allies) can not be happy with the current policy that gives as much or more audience to these terrorists as it gives to legal governments of democratic countries. The credibility that these terrorists have gained abroad can be measured by how much credibility The United States has lost. As for Bill Clinton, he didn't have any credibility to lose.

  • #36 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
Up until this administration it was common practice for Presidents to place their assets in a blind trust. Blind trusts invest the principal of an estate without the knowledge of the owners of that trust. This is done by presidents to eliminate any suspicion about legislation that may have affected an investment. Not so for the Clinton's (why are we not suprised?). The first lady, Hillary Clinton, was involved in an investment partnership called Value Partners. This partnership made a lot of money selling short pharmaceutical stocks at a time when those stocks were falling through the floor, because of the Health Care Task force headed by ...Hillary Clinton. I think I'm going to be sick.

  • #35 in the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
President Clinton has several times claimed to have ended crime as we know it by putting 100,000 cops on the streets of America. The facts on this are less than 18,000 have been approved and less than 8,000 actually sworn in. When confronted on the discrepency, president Clinton stated that he meant over the next five tears. He still remains the best liar the Oval office has ever seen.

  • #34 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
Not all of these acts are offical acts of office. Sometimes everyday actions can reveal a character flaw just as well as an illegal act. Take for instance President Clinton's $2,000.00 haircut aboard Airforce 1 at the Los Angeles Airport. While getting his haircut aboard the plane, countless airliners were forced to cicle LAX waiting for landing instructions. The airlines involved suffered financially, while travelers were inconvenienced. When asked about it the Presidents reply was I'm sorry I didn't know. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

  • #33 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
In one of many campaign fundraising shakedowns President Clinton through Vice President Gore and Nathan Landow, pressured the Cheyenne-Arapaho of Oklahoma, to donate over $100,000 to the DNC. The tribal leaders were led to beleive that a donation to the DNC would "get their issues heard". After promising a $107,000.00 donation members of the tribe were invited to a White House Lunch with President Clinton. Upon arriving in Washington DC, they were promptly asked for their check. They told the DNC officals that their check would be wired after the luncheon. During the lunch, the tribal leaders asked for the return of 7,500 acres of land in the now closed Fort Reno, that had been taken from the tribe 100 years ago. Since the election they had only had more requests for donations from the Clinton Administration. Once again someone found that character does matter. (for more information on this topic see Michael Reagan's Hot Topics 3/10/97).

  • #32 of the top 50 unethical acts of the Clinton Administration:
In a shameless political move President Clinton holds a press conference after the bombing in Oklahoma City where he blames the bombing on hate speech from "talk radio". He later clarified his statement stating that he didn't mean Rush Limbaugh, etc. (yeah sure).
