The First Letter of Stephen to the Amblerites        04/29/86

Dear Amblerites, Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST,
2  In the sixth year of the reign of Reagan, who did
sit upon his throne in the great city of Washington,
3  I did taketh a chair from one room and into yet
another room.
4  The LORD did see this and HE did bless this act,
5  for the chair was moved in a fashion of which the
LORD did approve.
6  The chair was not dragged upon the floor in a
noisesome manner, nor was the chair damaged in
any way when it was moved.
7  Instead the chair was lifted from the floor and
carried out of the room of its original placement,
8  and yea the chair then was held aloft even yet
as it was carried down the hall.
9  The chair was then carried, in the image of our
LORD carrying a chair, into the second room.
10  Then it was that I placed the chair upon the
ground, and it was not before then that the chair
was placed upon the ground nor thereafter,
11  but instead it was exactly then that I placed the
chair down on the ground.
12  Thus it was that I moved a chair from one room
to another, and the LORD did appear to me and
bless the chair and HE made the chair holy among
chairs.
13  Seeing as the chair was made holy by our LORD,
I determined myself unworthy to sit upon the chair
and it was then that I returned to the first room to
acquire yet another chair.
14  But the LORD did see my action and looked upon
me with pity, but not too much pity,
15  for HE is not one to waste much pity on a poor
sinner like myself.
16  And so I lifted the chair which I found placed in the
first room and I did carry it to the second room in the true
image of our LORD carrying a chair,
17  for I must follow my GOD even in the labor of
carrying a chair.
18  The chair must be a weight upon me; I must bear a
chair like CHRIST would bear HIS own cross.
19  And so I did place a second chair in the second room
and I did sit upon the second chair.
20  Then, and not before or after, the LORD my GOD
appeared to me and HE said unto me and my people:
21  Stephen, I put before you two chairs, one which
I made holy among chairs, and yet you chose the chair
less holy.
22  And I did throw myself on the floor and make
myself humble, for the voice of my LORD was great in
my ears.
23  After making myself humble before the LORD, I did
look upon the two chairs which my labor had brought into
this second room.
24  I did not look upon the chairs before making myself
humble, nor did I look upon the chairs while making
myself humble,
25  but only afterward did I look upon the chairs.
26  As I looked upon the two chairs, one of which was
holy among chairs and the other which was not holy in the
least, the LORD my GOD did speaketh to me once more.
27  And HE did saith unto me and my people:
28  Stephen, you are very humble before these chairs.
You are not humble behind these chairs, nor are you humble
beneath these chairs, nea, you are humble before these chairs.
29  And so it was that the LORD, our GOD, made me
humble before two chairs,
30  one which was holy among chairs and one chair which
was not holy in the least,
31  in the second room the chairs occupied because of my
labors in the image of the LORD carrying a chair.
32  Devotedly yours in CHRIST, Stephen.

.
