Much of the deception surrounding the War on Drugs has to do with “alternatives” and generation of hysteria and outrage over full legalization. The fact of the matter is that there are many more efficient methods of reducing drug abuse that don’t hurt people and they aren’t being considered due to commitment to a policy which merely hurts people. The truth is that virtually no one who isn’t presently using or seriously considering recreational drugs will decide to do so once we stop jailing [low income] people for use and/or possession of certain designated drugs. If the drug war abruptly ended the following would happen:

1] Fewer crimes would be committed against citizen taxpayers

2] Fewer people would be corrupting children with dangerous drugs

3] Teachers would have to deal with fewer drug addicted parents and children while trying to teach classes

4] Less money would be available to criminal groups like the CIA and Al Queda

5] More dangerous criminals would be safely[for citizen taxpayers] in prison

6] Taxpayers would be spending less money on prisons.

This would accomplish more good for citizen taxpayers than all the realistic proposals being considered both in DC and Salem.  Why would anyone with any moral character and integrity continue support for a policy causing so much harm to their community?  All serious drug reform proposals [some linked below] include major levels of decriminalization. Any and all attempts to link ending a harmful, useless policy to a “comprehensive” alternative [which the War on Drugs isn’t – it does NO good] is a deception – to divert citizen taxpayers’ attention from the harm caused by their pure evil policy. It is the contention of the 800 pound gorilla that those people who are NOT denouncing the War on Drugs are people of very low moral character and integrity who are hiding from the truth and the truth is that all of our elected leaders know that both statements are absolutely correct.  Nearly all these leaders are not malicious; they just need a LOT of moral support[aka  moral backbone] from citizen taxpayers to do the right thing. The news media, on the other hand, is malicious and evil – at least those who hire and fire the editors are – and therefore will be the last to acknowledge the truth.

Bumper stickers are available at the following prices:

            1] $2/sticker

            2] $15/10 stickers

            3] $50/40 stickers

            4] $100/100 stickers and $1/sticker thereafter.

If there isn’t sufficient support shown to persuade present major party officeholders and candidates to tell the truth I will run for office as a Libertarian. I will tell everyone at the candidates’ forums that those who aren’t denouncing the War on Drugs are people with very low moral character and integrity and they are hiding from truth. All those candidates will know for a fact that I am absolutely right on both counts – for after all how much character and integrity can you possibly have if you deliberately support a policy that does nothing but harm to their constituencies?
