If I were running against the me too candidate I'd go after the Indonesian connection with a vengeance. With the controversy surrounding the Nobel peace prize to a human rights advocate in Indonesia, it would be a piece of cake to tie in our misguided foreign policy to the trampling of democracy. We do a lot of business with Indonesia, as many shoppers can attest. Money is being paid to the me too president in order to ensure that the US voice on human rights violations is muted. This is an outrage that any self respecting candidate would jump on teeth first. Instead of playing the peace and justice trump card, the wimpy dull candidate is going after the xenophobic vote. That's just plain stupid as over 90% of that is already in the Republican column anyway and you can't make up double digit deficits by cutting into the Perot/Phillips vote. Apparently only Ralph Nader, and to a lesser extent, John Hagelin are the only 2 serious alternatives to this misguided foreign policy. JT Barrie 443 S. 28th pl. Philomath, Oregon (541) 929-5392
