ACCESS BY AIR

 Bali can easly be reached by air and there are now 18 International Airlines running schedule flights to Ngurah Rai Airport : Air New Zealand, Luthansa German Airlines, China Airlines, Sempati Airlines, Korean Air, Air France, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas Airways Limited, Ansett Australian Airlines, Continental Micronesia, Thai Airways International Limited, Chatay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, KLM Royal Ducth Airlines, Garuda Indonesia Airways, Merpati Nusantara, Bouraq Indonesia, Royal Brunai Airlines.

Most of the International Airlines fly to Singapore first as the nearest foriegn airport and it only takes two and half hours to fly from Singapore to Bali.

Garuda Indonesia manages regular direct international service to Bali from Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hongkong, Tokyo, Nagoya, Honolulu, Los Anggeles, Seoul, Taipeh and Auckland.

There also flights to Bali via Jakarta from Abu Dhabi, Rome, Zurich, Brussel, and Frankfurt, while between Bali and Australia there are regular flights to Darwin, Port Hedland, Perth, Melbourne, Syndney, and Brisbane.

Garuda Indonesia runs services to all main provincial cities with several flights from Jakarta to the cities of commercial and touristic importance, while the second National Carrier, Merpati Nusantara Airlines, serves more than 100 destinations in Indonesia from provincial capitals to remote areas.
