I saw your post and read your home page. I  think you may be able to 
form an alliance with TWO different groups that I associate with, 
People For the Ethical Treatment of Plants ( PETP), and the 
Neanderthal Anti-Defamation League (NADL).

My research on these organizations is summarized below:

PETP
First PETP. They are sensitive to the harm done to plants. We have 
all seen time lapse films of  how plants react to light, reaching for 
the sun, and how they  cringe from heat. They have feeling too. It 
just takes an altered time scale to watch them! Imagine the pain a 
poor carrot must feel being ripped up by its roots and eaten!!


Now many of the useless species PETP wants to eliminate are HERBIVORES.
They devoir poor helpless plants (who can't even run away!).

I think there is a clear basis for cooperation here.

NADL

The position of NADL is probably best conveyed by the  poem
HUMANITY EVIL .  Since it was inspired by another poem AMERICA EVIL , 
I will include both of them on my homepage. There may be no direct 
connection between this environmental group and People for the 
Extinction of Animals, but they should both appeal to those with the 
same kind of outlook.
