Ralph Nader has a long history of doing the right thing by
researching corporate and government activities and alerting us
to the wrong things they sometimes do. He has successfully
attacked the big ones from General Motors (65) to Microsoft (98).
He is responsible for initiating auto safety, for the Freedom of
Information Act, for establishing a model for citizen action
groups and for many other people-saving and environment-saving
activities. He has shown that we can successfully fight city
hall, corporations and corrupt government to get them to do the
right thing instead of the wrong thing. We can make the changes
that are needed. For doing his best to fight government secrecy
and government corruption, to tame the corporate tiger and to
make a more democratic and just society, Ralph Nader has been
